Origins of Outrider

The origins of Outrider Suspension Armor (now Outrider Offroad) began back in early May 2008 at a meet and greet in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area.

In June 2008, we began the initial prototype of our front lower link mount armor and after three more prototypes; we developed our current production model. We began non destructive testing (magna flux) and destructive testing (crush tests & dissection) in early September. Our Shock Mount Armor was taken from concept to production by mid October.

The entire month of October was dedicated the refinement and fit & finish of our products. Manufacturing process analysis, coatings and logistics were brought online by the early part of November. With these products, Outrider Suspension Armor was born Jan 2009.

2009 proved to be a challenge for Outrider with tough economic conditions that faced everyone. With those challenges came opportunities to explore new ways to bring cost effective and performance oriented products to our customers In that Outrider Suspension Armor became Outrider Offroad. We have forged strong business relationships with several manufacturers and product distributors to bring our customers the highest in performance standards with a competitive price.

We also saw the opportunity to offer installation, repair and custom fabrication services to our local customers. We have added a state of the art diagnostic capability to help us help our customers sort out the complexities of the modern on board control systems that need repair.
Our focus at Outrider is mainly on Toyota vehicles, but we gladly offer sales and service for offroad parts for other manufacturers.
Our showroom is not fancy, big or shiny which allows us to pass on the savings to our customers.

Our whole idea and concept for Outrider Offroad and Outrider Suspension Armor:

Offer performance oriented products to our customers that will satisfy their on road / offroad needs at an affordable price and to make well engineered affordable armor so those who enjoy off-road wheeling spend less time and money repairing their vehicles and more time enjoying the trails.
